Wari is a fashion brand founded by Ekari Makunganya and has its collection called “Powerful but Peaceful”. Wari is based on based violence against women, emotional abuse as well as dealing with self-esteem and suicide.
The garments created are to make women feel and know that they have the power to be strong, to be daring and well as for them to know that they are not defined by what has happened to them. This is shown in the bright colours, prints and silhouettes used in the collection.
Every woman deserves a happy story and we are the ones who define how our story ends.
