OLIVE, a brand created by Whitney Koert that is focuses on creating clothing that tells a personal story through the incorporation of hard-crafted artisanal elements into her collections.
This year’s A/W 18 collection is centred on the development and importance of textiles in South Africa drawing inspiration from the differences and similarities she has experienced, within the coloured community, living in Cape Town while being from King William’s Town, Eastern Cape, for hand-woven textile inspiration. Creating garments with bright colours and odd silhouettes paired with hand-woven accessories for the women who dare to stand out.
