CTCFD ALUMNI LAUNCH NEW COLLECTIONS | AELAHN COLLECTIVE STORE OPENING

On Saturday, 30 June 2018 we attended the launch of Aelahn Collective, a concept store by CTCFD alumni Feroza Webster which houses collections from other alumni Pierre de Villiers and Eva Komvos.

Aelahn (pronounced A laan) is the brainchild of Feroza Webster who graduated from CTCFD in 2006. With more than 10 years in the fashion industry, her store Aelahn Collective is home to her own brand of contemporary womenswear as well as Silvan, the botanically inspired slow design brand by Pierre de Villiers, who graduated from CTCFD in 2011. Aelahn Collective also houses sustainable knitwear brand Kali Moda, a line that began as part of Eva Komvos’ Advanced Diploma year of study at CTCFD in 2016.

We had a great afternoon celebrating this exciting new store with our alumni and guests which included a number of students from CTCFD and sister campus The Fashion Institute of Garment Technology, where Feroza is a lecturer.
